His works and ideas had a profound influence on contemporary art and inspired numerous artists worldwide. Klein's minimalist and color-intensive paintings find parallels in the works of artists such as Mark Rothko and Barnett Newman, who are also known for their abstract and monochrome compositions. His unique artistic vision also influenced modern artists like Yayoi Kusama and Anish Kapoor. In the modern art scene, his influence can be seen in the works of James Turrell and Damien Hirst, whose works explore color, space, and perception in various ways. The works of Piero Manzoni and Lucio Fontana also bear traces of Yves Klein's aesthetic influences. Klein's unmistakable style is reflected in the works of artists such as Ad Reinhardt and Robert Ryman, whose minimalist approaches and artistic reduction explore similar concepts of color and space. The spiritual depth and meditative quality in the works of Agnes Martin and Ellsworth Kelly also show his influence. Artists such as Jackson Pollock and Willem de Kooning, known for their expressive and dynamic brushwork, were influenced by Klein's bold use of color and form. His ideas about the connection between art and philosophy found echoes in the works of Joseph Beuys and John Cage. Other notable artists connected to Yves Klein's work include Piero Manzoni and Lucio Fontana, whose works are shaped by a similar spiritual and artistic depth. The works of Agnes Martin and Ellsworth Kelly also continue his artistic explorations.
