Z-Lite Z113 “Zig Zag” adjustable table lamp – Shui L. D. Chan Sculptural table lamp with a black geometric body and a contrasting red triangular switch. Its articulated segments can be repositioned to create different shapes and adjust the direction of the light. The underside retains the Z-Lite manufacturer’s label identifying the model as Z113. It also bears UK Registered Design No. 1026795 and US Patent No. 4716505. The US patent was granted in 1987 and names Shui L. D. Chan as the inventor. The exact production year of this example is unknown. Materials: plastic and metal. Colour: black with a red switch. Base dimensions: approximately 24 × 17 cm. Overall height and reach vary according to the position of the articulated segments. Electrical specifications as stated on the label: – Mains supply: 230 V, 50 Hz – Halogen bulb specification: 12 V, 50 W The lamp lights up, as shown in the photographs.
