Rare Fender '64 Vibroverb Custom - (Cesar Diaz / SRV Mod) – USA A unique opportunity for the connoisseur, collector and passionate guitarist. This iconic and rare model was produced in a limited run and is rarely offered on the used market in this condition. This Custom version was designed in collaboration with the legendary "Amp Doctor" Cesar Diaz — the long-time amp technician for Stevie Ray Vaughan. Fender has built into this model the exact modifications Diaz applied to the '64 Vibroverbs of Stevie Ray Vaughan himself (such as the well-known Stock / Modified switch at the rear for more gain, overdrive and a deactivated vibrato circuit for extra punch). Specifications & Features: • Condition: Visually in top condition. Technically no issues. • Documentation: Includes original documentation/papers. • Speaker: 15" Special Design Fender Loudspeaker (custom-built by Eminence Speaker Corp., Kentucky). • Channels: Normal & Vibrato (with authentic tube-driven spring reverb and vibrato). • Power: 40 - 50 Watt pure tube power. • Front/back switches: Switchable between Stock '64 Vibroverb and Modified (Diaz Spec: More Gain & Overdrive). • Origin: Hand-built in Corona, California, USA. • Serial number: CR-279865 A rare piece of guitar history in a condition that you will hardly find today. Perfect for the studio, on stage, or as a valuable collection piece. IMPORTANT: due to the size, this amplifier must be picked up!
