This elegant Swiss watch preserves an attractive mid-1950s aesthetic, with champagne-colored dial, Arabic numerals and applied markers, gold-tone hands, and a small seconds at 6 o’clock. Inside is the Zenith caliber 106.6, a manual-wind mechanical movement produced between 1955 and 1957. It is a variant of the Zenith 106 family, featuring 15 jewels, small seconds, and the Incabloc shock protection system. The caliber runs at 18,000 A/h and offers approximately 38 hours of power reserve. According to available references, the production of the 106.6 was about 13,000 units. The movement is signed ZENITH and numbered 555144, as can be seen in the photographs. The watch retains its dial with a pronounced natural patina, showing signs of aging typical of its roughly 70 years.
