Zippo - No reserve price - Lighter - Steel (stainless)

Zippo - BLU Gas Lighter - Model "Zipped" Design - Dusted/Satin Chrome - Made in USA. In this auction is one of the most historically sought-after and distinctive innovations in modern Zippo Manufacturing Company production: a gas lighter from the Zippo BLU series, specifically the model adorned with the refined geometric pattern "Zipped". Launched in the second half of the 2000s and subsequently discontinued, the Zippo BLU line differs from the classic petrol model for its innovative butane gas operation, designed to deliver a characteristic blue flame, clean, powerful, windproof and completely odorless (highly appreciated by cigar and pipe smokers). It still retains the brand’s distinctive features: flint ignition via the iconic wheel and the solid metal case, in this case with an elegant satin chrome finish (Dusted/Satin Chrome). The front panel is embellished with an exclusive deep geometric engraving that runs vertically along the case: a central column of raised rectangles framed by a refined texture reminiscent of a zipper pattern or a circuit. A curved line follows the contour of the lid opening, giving dynamism to the design. On the side of the case is the classic window for visually checking the gas level. A modern vintage collectible piece, technological and indispensable to enrich a themed collection on Zippo models that are alternative or out of production.
