For more than fifty years, she imagined home textiles, fabrics for children and wallpaper. Her unique style is characterized by vibrant hues, vitamin-rich atmospheres, and a great freshness. Her collections often feature playful animal motifs, notably her famous cat drawings. She also places nature at the center with floral representations and orchestrated stripes. A true craftswoman, Zofia Rostad rejects the use of computers to design her original works. She favors finely prepared gouache, the brush, and meticulous calligraphy work. Her know-how led her to collaborate with prestigious French producers such as Tissage Moutet. Her iconic wallpapers from the 1970s, such as the “Pommes” model, profoundly marked mural design. Today, the work of this color ambassador is widely recognized internationally. Several national institutions preserve and display her graphic and textile creations across Europe.
