circa 1980s, each silver-tone painted tubular-metal frame upholstered with a pale pink wool seat pad, with applied Danish manufacturer's label, together with a scale model, photographs and a copy of 'Design' magazine, with applied Danish manufacturer's label, together with a scale model, photographs and a copy of 'Design' magazine, (10), 48cm wide, 45cm deep, 70cm high, 45cm to seat, The fabric for the upholstered elements from these chairs was designed by the present vendor's father for Wool Futures. The exact chairs are seen pictured in an exhibition designed by Kenneth Essex for the International Wool Secretariat in Carlton Gardens, London, in the 1980s. A scale model of this exhibition is included within this lot. A similar example of these chairs can be found in an advert in the October 1989 issue of 'Design' magazine. Condition Report, Condition Report, Overall the chairs appear in mostly good order. The frames with some scratches and surface marks throughout commensurate with use and age. The upholstery to one seat pad with a small hole approximately 1cm in length. One example with the back pad missing. Otherwise structurally sound.
