Alla auktioner / Samtida Konst / Santicri (1992) - Running out
Santicri has participated in numerous art exhibitions of international repute. Among the most significant, in 2022 he showcased his works at the prestigious Palazzo Grillo in Genoa, and in 2023 he attended the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, thus expanding his visibility in both national and international contexts. Santicri was recognized among the Best-Selling Artists of 2024 by Artmayeur, one of the most renowned platforms in the art world. In the same year, he was also listed among the top three most searched names on the Catawiki platform, another sign of growing appreciation for his work. These accolades highlight the extraordinary talent and increasing visibility of Santicri in the contemporary art scene. Technique: resin and marble powder, cold metallization. Dimensions: H26 x L6 x P16 cm Condition: new Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed Edition: limited edition 100ex With his simplicity, the artist invites reflection on the deeper meaning of everyday objects. The faucet, common in our homes, suspended and unconnected, symbolizes disconnection and the monotony of modern life. The falling water drop adds movement and life, contrasting with the faucet’s stillness and evoking nature and evolution. This work challenges the viewer to find beauty and meaning even in the most banal objects, opening space for multiple interpretations typical of contemporary art. The work is prepared for wall mounting via a dedicated hook. The serial number shipped may not match the one in the photo. SHIPPING INSURED. The artist established himself in 2024 as one of the most sought-after names on Catawiki, immediately ranking behind icons such as Kaws and Banksy. His art stands out in an exclusive context that includes other categories of excellence, such as Rolex, Lego, Louis Vuitton, Porsche, Eames, Macallan, Tintin, Cartier and Pokémon. A talent recognized not only for creative value but also as one of the most promising investments of the year. Born in 1992 in Macerata, Marche, the Italian artist pursued a path that, between studies in geometric engineering and architecture, led him to collaborate with an artisan who makes resin sculptures. There arose the increasingly strong need to find himself and unleash his creativity. His works are sold worldwide, collaborating with galleries in Italy and Europe. His art is widely appreciated and cannot be missing among collectors of street art, pop art, and contemporary art paintings and sculptures. "It is never easy to classify one’s art; I try to convey what my eyes see, my way of perceiving what surrounds me, and I reinterpret it with a design that fits well with modern times: impactful and memorable."
